When in Rome

be Italian with Nicole Kidman, Penélope Cruz and Sophia Loren - and watch Nine

When it comes to movies we often trust in the trailers we see on TV or in the movie theatre. But if you trust in the recommendation a friend’s giving you sometimes it’s the better choice.
Haven’t seen this trailer so far anywhere else but when I first clicked on the play button I couldn’t stop staring. Not sure if it’s better to call Nine a musical or a film with some really great actresses coming together. Sorry guys, but I’m afraid we will forget (a little bit) about you. So there’s an amazing Nicole Kidman (long curly blonde hair), Penélope Cruz, Judi Dench, Marion Cotillard, Kate Hudson and also someone called Stacy Ferguson. Probably better known as Fergie. This is quite what I call a cast. And… just when you think it can’t get any better you’ll see Sophia Loren. Oh can’t wait till the movie is released here as well. Release date in the USA is today, in Germany it starts next year on February 25 and it Italy on January 15.

What’s the story of the movie?
Arrogant, self-centered movie director Guido Contini finds himself struggling to find meaning, purpose, and a script for his latest film endeavor. With only a week left before shooting begins, he desperately searches for answers and inspiration from his wife, his mistress, his muse, and his mother. As his chaotic profession steadily destroys his personal life, Guido must find a balance between creating art and succumbing to its obsessive demands.
